In recent years, to extend
the life of power electronics equipment
required by high electric power industries such as railways
and power stations, highly reliable, compact and lightweight
HVIGBT and HVIPM modules are becoming widely
used as power modules, replacing the previously used thyristors
and GTOs. In response to these demands, the lineup
includes the world's highest-voltage HVIGBT module 4.5Kv,
the world's highest capacity HVIPM 3.3Kv, and features
further contributions to miniaturization and energy- savings
in large-capacity inverter devices
